Hello!! Greetings from the desert, man it is hot out there. You'd think that after so many years of living through each summer it would get easier but it just seems to get more difficult. We did get some press and you can find our article in Get Out Magazine here Read Me, and you can find our article from the New Times here Read Me Too. We have some shows coming up!! On 8/16, we are playing at Last Exit with the caterwauls and sister cities. We've been looking forward to playing at this venue and can't wait. On 8/18 we are playing at Casa Blanca with serene dominic and mondegreen. This is another place that we've heard great things about and can't wait to play there. We have a show in Tucson on 9/15 at The Hut with fatigo and molehill orkestrah & on 10/20 at The Ruby Room with vanessa atalanta and from tucson, the dusty buskers. Hello!! Wow, what a couple of months. We really would like to thank all the bands/performers and people who came out for our cd release show on June 1st. Everyone seemed to have a really good time and we can't wait for our next one - probably another 7 years from now. Press is a weird thing but we are grateful to the people who took the time to interview us. We are gonna take a break for the months of june and july only playing at The Trunk Space on June 29th and July 20th with some great bands, check shows section for more info. Hello!! A couple of announcements to make... We have a lot of shows for the month of May. We'll be playing at the Bands on Grand music festival on May 12th at The Trunk Space, May 18th for the Fender Music Showcase at Chaser's Nightclub, May 25th at The Paper Heart for Vaiden's farewell show, & June 1st at The Hollywood Alley. This will be our CD Release show and we have many fine local acts who will be playing that night with us. Our cd is now available at CD Baby for people who live out of state or at stinkweeds on camelback and central in downtown phoenix. Other than that, nothing else to report. Happy New Year everyone!! A lot of things have been happening. First, our CD has arrived and will be on sale at shows and when I get a chance to set up our account, online at CDbaby.net. We also have another addition to the Thug family, Jeff. Jeff will be playing accordian and keyboards whenever his schedule permits, we are very, very happy to have him onboard. Come on out to our next 2 shows and say hi to him. Other than the next two shows, we are writing some new songs and also getting ready to start preproducing our next CD. Mastering is complete and we are very happy with the results. Doing a live recording of the songs presented a lot of obstacles but all in all, a lot was learned and we captured what we thought was an honest representation of our music. We should be getting all of the art work in order for printing and duplication. The disks should be ready in a couple of months and we might even have some LP's pressed for the people who still collect vinyl. Also, we'd would like to introduce our new bass player, Gil Guillia. Gil is one very talented individual and we can't wait to do our first show with him. Stay tuned.
